Many people return to Betterton on the First Weekend of August for the Betterton Appreciation Weekend. Everyone loves a parade and Betterton does too.
This year parade was one of the best. I don’t have an award to give, but if I did the Betterton Fishing Ark would have received the “Kent County Crier” Award.

The Betterton Volunteer Fire Company gave out 14 awards this year.
