Danielle Murdock – Shorewoman of the Week
Senior trap and skeet student-athlete Danielle Murdock (Terryville, Conn./St. Paul Catholic)is this week’s Shorewoman of the Week. Murdock won the ladies division at the Terrapin Classic, a sporting clays competition, Saturday.
Murdock broke 85 targets out of 100 to win the ladies division in the trap and skeet team’s first competition as a varsity program after being elevated from club status.
Haber Carlson – Shoreman of the Week
Sophomore sailor Haber Carlson (Severna Park, Md./Indian Creek School) is this week’s Shoreman of the Week. Carlson skippered the sailing team to a second-place finish in B Division, helping the team to third overall, at the Princeton Fall Open over the weekend.
Sailing with crew Jessie Ngo, Carlson skippered Washington to individual race finishes of second, fifth, first, first, second, third, and eighth in the seven B Division races.
