Kailyn Brandt – Shorewoman of the Week
Sophomore field hockey player Kailyn Brandt (White Hall, Md./Hereford) is this week’s Shorewoman of the Week. Brandt scored three goals in a 2-0 week of the Shorewomen.
Brandt scored the game-winning goal with 9:07 remaining in a 2-1 win at Swarthmore Wednesday. She then scored the first and third goals for the Shorewomen in a 3-2 victory over Dickinson Saturday.
This is Brandt’s second career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
Ross Douglas & Josh Turner – Shoreman of the Week
Freshman rowers Ross Douglas (Salisbury, Md./Parkside) and Josh Turner (Mustang, Okla./Mustang) share this week’s Shoreman of the Week honor. Douglas and Turner rowed in both of the Shoremen’s winning novice boats at the Occoquan Challenge Sunday.
Douglas sat in the stroke seat and Turner the four seat in the Shoremen’s winning frosh/novice eight, which recorded a time of 17:48.41. In the winning frosh/novice four, Douglas was in the two seat and Turner in the bow seat as their boat finished in 17:29.18.
