Danielle Murdock – Shorewoman of the Week
Senior trap and skeet student-athlete Danielle Murdock (Terryville, Conn./St. Paul Catholic)is this week’s Shorewoman of the Week. Murdock was the top women’s finisher in American Skeet and placed fourth overall among women at the ACUI Upper East Coast Conference Championships.
Murdock broke 89 of 100 targets in American Skeet to finish as the top woman in that discipline. She was also fourth among women in American Trap, sixth among women in Sporting Clays, and tied for sixth among women in Super Sporting Clays. Murdock’s total score of 270 across the four disciplines placed her fourth among 18 women overall.
This is the second Shorewoman of the Week honor this season for Murdock.
Tray Wright – Shoreman of the Week
Freshman basketball player Tray Wright (Baltimore, Md./St. Paul’s School for Boys) is this week’s Shoreman of the Week. Wright scored 20 points in his first collegiate regular-season game as the Shoremen opened the season with an 86-76 win over Cairn Friday.
Wright added six rebounds and four assists to go along with his 20 points in the victory, which was the Shoremen’s first win in a season opener in 11 years.
