Danielle Murdock – Shorewoman of the Week
Senior trap and skeet student-athlete Danielle Murdock (Terryville, Conn./St. Paul Catholic)is this week’s Shorewoman of the Week. Murdock finished as the top performer among women and third among all competitors to help lead her team to a victory at the Blue Hen Classic over the weekend.
Murdock totaled 252 targets overall to finish third overall (among 28 collegiate shooters) and tops among seven women. She was third in sporting clays by breaking a personal-best 90 of 100 targets, won a shoot-off to take third in skeet after breaking 46 of 50 targets, placed seventh in trap with 86 of 100 targets, and tied for 10th in doubles trap with 30 of 50 targets.
Washington won the overall team title by a 106-target margin and won all four disciplines as a team.
This is the fourth Shorewoman of the Week honor this season for Murdock.
Jordan Ukishima – Shoreman of the Week
Junior trap and skeet student-athlete Jordan Ukishima (Frederick, Md./Urbana) is this week’s Shoreman of the Week. Ukishima finished as the fourth-highest overall performer and third-highest male help lead his team to a victory at the Blue Hen Classic over the weekend.
Ukishima totaled 250 targets overall to place fourth overall and third among men. He finished second in trap with a personal-best 96 targets after losing a shoot-off, took second in doubles trap with 36 after winning a shoot-off against teammate Nathaniel Neuland, placed fifth in skeet with 44, and finished 15th in sporting clays with 74.
Washington won the overall team title by a 106-target margin and won all four disciplines as a team.
This is Ukishima’s first-ever Shoreman of the Week honor.
