Dr. Doretha Williams, the Robert Fredrick Smith Fund Program Manager at the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) joined us at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. breakfast and celebration at the Rock Hall Fire House.
She invited the community to participate in the upcoming Community Curation event to be held in Chestertown April 21-26, 2020.
The Community Curation event is a collaboration between Chesapeake Heartland: An African American Humanities Project and NMAAHC. The project connects African American communities across generations by preserving our history and sharing stories, photos and videos to the Smithsonian’s online community collection.
