The Peoples Bank will be functioning in a Drive-Thru Only capacity as of 3/17/2020 in order to protect the health and safety of their customers, staff, and the communities they serve. The Bank’s Executive Management will reassess opening the lobbies to the public again by 3/30/2020. This measure is Phase II of The Peoples Bank’s Pandemic Plan, put into place to address the rapidly-evolving safety protocols suggested by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention during the COVID-19 outbreak.
“At The Peoples Bank, the health and safety of our customers, staff, and the community as a whole is our biggest concern,” stated Ralph Dowling, CEO and President of The Peoples Bank. “We feel that closing our lobbies to the public is essential during this national health emergency in order to minimize the risk of exposure to our clients and our staff. We will be closely monitoring this situation with our customers, staff and our local communities in mind. We look forward to serving our patrons and their families safely through this period of uncertainty.”
The Bank recommends that customers make use of all of the Bank’s available tools and resources for self-service banking options and 24/7 account access through their online, mobile, telephone, and ATM banking services. All branches are still available by phone. For up-to-date information on The Peoples Bank’s COVID-19 response, please visit www.pbkc.com/news/COVID-19.
