The Committee for the Rock Hall Pirates and Wenches Weekend has put out the following notice cancelling the event for 2020.
“It is with heavy hearts that the organizers of this year’s Pirates and Wenches Weekend have sadly decided to cancel the event for 2020. The decision was a difficult one but was made in the best interest of festival goers, volunteers and the community at large. An event of this magnitude requires an abundance of resources, coordination and time. Given the current unknowns that we are facing in our world today, this makes planning an event such as this all the more challenging. The event has had a consistent award-winning reputation and the volunteers are committed to delivering this professional quality. With that being said — planning is already underway for August 2021 and we aaarr looking forward to continuing this fun tradition more than ever before! Hope to see you August 13-15, 2021 !
…Stay tuned! For there may just be some virtual piratical surprises in the near future…”
