The Soroptimist International of Kent & Queen Anne’s Counties has selected Ellie Jetton as the Kent County High School award winner. Ellie will receive a monetary award of $500 to help with expenses for college.
This award is based solely on community service. Ellie has been involved in SGA and the Interact Club for all 4 years of high school. In the last 2 years, she has been involved in the National Honor Society and the National Spanish Honor Society. Ellie is a member of the National Math Honor Society of which she is the founder and president.
During her high school years, Ellie played varsity field hockey and varsity tennis. Outside of school, Ellie is an active member of the Presbyterian Church of Chestertown where she has served as a deacon for 2 years, and she has been participating in the youth group for 6 years.
