Kent School to Offer Summer Sessions

Flyer: Kent School Summer ScheduleKent School has announced an array of virtual summer offerings for children in Grades One through Eight. All classes are open to the public and will meet daily for one week for sixty to ninety minutes.  The fee is $100 per session. Kent School’s Summer Scholars sessions will be led by talented, enthusiastic and innovative members of the Kent School employee group. Summer Scholars includes a combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning designed for students to continue practicing the skills needed to transition in the next academic year. Students will improve their skills in technology, language arts, math and test taking, while having fun.

The schedule and sessions are:

Session One, from June 15 to June 19

  1. Extra, Extra – Journalism Writing for rising 4th through 8th grade students
  1. Graphic Design – Let’s Create for rising 5th through 8th grade students

 

Session Two from July 6 to July 10

  1. Intensive Math for rising 4th through 8th grade students
  2. Story Time for rising 1st through 3rd grade students

Session Three from July 20 to July 24

  1. Who Did It? Mystery Writing for rising 4th through 8th grade students
  2. Forensic Science for rising 4th through 8th grade students

Session Four from August 3 to August 7

  1. SSAT Prep – Get Ready for Secondary School for rising 8th grade students only.

Sessions will be held each morning via Zoom online video conferencing. While each session has an academic theme, there will be no grading. Evaluation will only be done in the form of feedback from the session leader. The morning sessions are perfect for busy families. For more information in mail info@kentschool or register here.
