2023 began on a good note for the Rock Hall VFC. A week after the morning temperatures were in single digits the thermometer readings were 50 degrees higher when a huge crowd joined them at their Annual Big Dip fundraiser at Ferry Park Beach.
Each year they jump into the cold waters of the Chesapeake Bay at Noon on New Year’s Day. It was reported that the bay temperature was in the high 40’s.
It was one of the biggest turnout for the event that raised over $1200 with onsite challenges
