O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree… It Could Be Yours!
CHESTERTOWN, MD
If you’re looking to add a bit of sparkle (and a dash of patriotic flair) to your holiday season the Historical Society has just the thing—a one-of-a-kind patriotic Christmas tree. It could be yours for the price of a $10 raffle ticket and just a little bit of luck.
The stunning 6.5-foot tree is beautifully decorated with white lights and ornaments so festive, Uncle Sam would be proud to have it in his living room. Generously donated and decorated by George and Cari Corey, the tree will shine like a holiday beacon in the Bordley History Center window until the lucky winner takes it home.
Tickets are just $10 each, or three for $25. The winner will be drawn on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at noon during Chestertown’s Dickens Weekend festivities. No need to be present for the big moment—just make sure to pick up your tree by Christmas Eve, December 24. Pickat up as many chances as you can at the Bordley History Center, or online at kentcountyhistory.org/2024-raffle.
What’s more festive than winning a tree?
Knowing your ticket purchase benefits the Historical Society of Kent County and its mission to preserve, protect, and share the rich history of Kent County for future generations makes the holiday joy shine all the brighter. It’s a win-win!
Don’t miss the chance to deck your halls with star-spangled red, white, and blue. Get your tickets today, and let holiday cheer ring!
The Historical Society offers a welcoming community and invites everyone to get involved as a member. Benefits include unlimited use of the Genealogy and Research Library (by appointment), discounts on books in the museum shop, and members-only events.
