Easterseals Welcomes New Advisory Board Member

Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore recently welcomed Mark R. Marcantano, JD, of Wilmington, DE, to its Advisory Board. Members of the Advisory Board serve as ambassadors for Easterseals in the community, providing advice and counsel to enhance the organization’s mission as a primary provider of services to children and adults with disabilities and their families.

“It is an honor to join the Easterseals Advisory Board,” Marcantano said. “I look forward to leveraging my experience in pediatric healthcare and collaborating with the rest of the Advisory Board to build a brighter and more inclusive community.”

Marcantano joined Nemours Children’s in January 2024 and serves as the President for the Delaware Valley region and a member of Nemours Executive Cabinet, reporting to the enterprise Chief Operating Officer. He is a seasoned healthcare executive with over 25 years of multidisciplinary experience. Before joining Nemours, Mark served as Chief Administrative Officer at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, President and Chief Operating Officer at Care New England’s Women & Infants Hospital/Brown University, and Vice President of Ambulatory and Network Services at Boston Children’s Hospital.
