Hope Community Alliance of Rock Hall announces their new location in Rock Hall

Rock Hall, Maryland

The Hope Community Alliance formerly located on Rock Hall Road, near The Rock Church,,has moved to a new location at 21920 Civic Center Road, Rock Hall, MD.

Hope Community Alliance has been serving the community with clothing assistance and food for the food insecure in their prior location for over 3 years. This move to the new locations will enable them to serve those who may have been limited by transportation difficulties and has relocated them closer to the heart of the town of Rock Hall.

The mission of Hope Community Alliance, a Kent County Maryland based non-profit organization, is to offer food and clothing assistance to address food insecurity and build a stronger community. The organization does this with the help of a volunteer staff and partners in the local community.

HCA Board President said: We serve the community in need regardless of their situation. No one in our community should go hungry or be without warm clothing and HCA fills that gap. We recently did a Christmas dinner giveaway in which more than 35 families received a complete lasagne dinner serving more than 80 meals to those families”.

HCA would like to thank the following people who helped with the transition:
Chestertown Lions, Chestertown Rotary, Washington College Tennis coach Constantine Ananiadis, his family and players, WCTR’s Moore and Les, Mike and Anna Riggin, Greg Reese, and especially Les Moorhouse of Moorehouse Electric who went way above and beyond to help make this happen. HCA is open every Sunday from 1:30 to 3:30 to serve the community.
