If fines on your library account have been keeping you away from Kent County Public Library, February is the month to come back!
From February 1 through February 28, you can have any overdue fines on your Kent County Public Library forgiven.
Here’s all you have to do:
1. Return all overdue items to KCPL.
2. Bring your KCPL library card to one of KCPL’s three locations (Chestertown, Rock Hall, or
North County in Galena) between February 1 and February 28.
3. Request to have your account cleared of overdue fees.
If you can’t find your library card, just present your state-issued ID showing your current address and we’ll give you a new card.
Replacement charges for lost or damaged items will not be covered by Fine Forgiveness February. However, if you have replacement charges on your account that you are having trouble paying, please let us know. We believe everyone should have access to library materials and are willing to create a payment plan in order to help you become a library user again.
For more information, call 410-778-3636 or visit any of KCPL’s locations.
