There were a few photos from this week that could have been this week’s photo of the week. But I choose this one of the pin by Kent County High School Wrestler Rick Townsend that capped off a 57-18 win over visiting St Michaels in the teams final Home Match of the season.
In recent years the proud KCHS Wrestling Team had fallen on hard times. During those times there were often matches where only a couple of wrestlers competed. During Wednesday January 23rd match they competed in all but one weigh class (106) and even had 2 JV wrestlers.
The KCHS Wrestling Trojans are truly on the Rise!
