Andrea Prestianne – Shorewoman of the Week
Junior women’s basketball player Andrea Prestianne (Kennett Square, Pa./Kennett) is this week’s Shorewoman of the Week. Prestianne averaged 16.5 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per contest in two games this past weekend..
Prestianne scored a game-best 17 points and set her personal-high in rebounds with seven in Saturday’s 55-47 win over Montclair St. at York (Pa.) in the opening round of the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic. On Sunday against host York (Pa.) in the championship game, she scored a contest-high 16 points and topped her career-best in boards with eight. She earned a spot on the all-tournament team with her performance.
This is Prestianne’s first career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
Greg Adams – Shoreman of the Week
Senior men’s soccer player Greg Adams (Pasadena, Md./Chesapeake) is this week’s Shoreman of the Week. Adams scored a goal in both games of the NCAA Division III Tournament this past weekend, including the winner against #11 Montclair State on Sunday.
In Sunday’s second round game, Adams snapped a 0-0 tie with his goal in the 72nd minute to put the Shoremen ahead 1-0 in a 2-0 victory. On Saturday in the 2-0 first round victory over St. Lawrence, he gave Washington College a two-goal advantage in the 55th minute.
This is Adams’ second career Shoreman of the Week honor.
