The Kent County Office of Emergency Services, the Kent County Sheriff’s Office and the University of Maryland Shore Regional Health Mobile Wellness Team are pleased to announce a new program entitled Vulnerable Population Assistance Program, or VPAP.
VPAP is designed as a voluntary registry that will enable first responders to better assist members of our vulnerable populations.
Who can be registered?
Any persons who have been diagnosed with autism/Asperger’s Syndrome, low hearing ability/deafness, Alzheimer’s Disease/dementia, intellectual disability, or other mental health issues may be registered in the database.
To register, complete the online VPAP form.
The data will be maintained in our registry, and you will receive confirmation of your entry.
The VPAP form may be accessed at www.kentcounty.com/oes by clicking on the link to “Vulnerable Population Assistance Program.” Paper copies of the enrollment form may be printed from the web site, or they may be picked up in the lobby of the Kent County Sheriff’s Office, 104 Vickers Drive, Chestertown, MD.
