Kent County Office of Emergency Services unveiled three Public Access AED sites

On a beautiful Tuesday afternoon on May 21, 2024 the Kent County Office of Emergency Services unveiled three Public Access AED sites within the county! Each unit is climate-controlled and stocked with the latest public access AED from ZOLL Medical.

County Commissioner President Ron Fithian spoke at the dedication highlighted the importance of early CPR and AED application and expressed the Commissioner’s support of these and future public access sites.

Public Access AEDs have been installed at the following locations:
– Worton Park – Bathroom Building
– Betterton Beach – Bathhouse (Beachside)
– Bayside Landing – Pool Bathhouse.
– More sites to come!

Kent County Office of Emergency Services acknowledge that this couldn’t have accomplished without the dedication and support of the Commissioners of Kent County, Kent County Community Center-Parks & Recreation, Kent County Public Works Department, and SaveStation.
