Sorry to have to report that this has been CANCELLED:
Join “Save the Hospital” at Bad Alfred’s in downtown Chestertown beginning at 3:00 p.m. this Friday to show Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot that our community is still fighting for the future of our hospital.
“Save the Hospital” Doctors Gerard O’Connor & Wayne Benjamin, along with the president of Washington College, the CEO of Dixon Valve and others, will tell Mr. Franchot about UMMS/Shore Health cut-backs at the hospital. The Comptroller will learn why he, Governor Hogan and the General Assembly must act to save our hospital now and beyond 2022.
The discussion, which is open to the public, will begin at 3:00 p.m. at Bad Alfred’s distillery and tavern, 323 High Street. It would be great if hundreds of us showed up to show the Comptroller how much we care.
