Anna Hall – Shorewoman of the Week
Freshman swimmer Anna Hall (Catonsville, Md./Mount de Sales Academy) is this week’s Shorewoman of the Week. Hall won both butterfly events during Saturday’s 146-116 loss to Catholic.
Hall won the 200 butterfly in 2:22.08 and the 100 butterfly in 1:03.04.
This is Hall’s first career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
Alec Lewis – Shoreman of the Week
Junior basketball player Alec Lewis (Jefferson, Md./Brunswick) is this week’s Shoreman of the Week. Lewis hit the game-winning three-pointer in a 45-42 win at Franklin & Marshall Tuesday and scored a career-best 24 points in a 76-61 win over Gettysburg Thursday.
Lewis’s winning three-pointer at F&M came with just one second remaining in regulation. Nineteen of his 24 points against Gettysburg came in the second half. He also grabbed six rebounds, handed out five assists, and blocked two shots against the Bullets.
This is Lewis’s third career Shoreman of the Week honor and second this season.
