CHESTERTOWN, MD:
Corey N. Duncan, chairman of the board of directors of Peoples Bancorp, Inc., parent company of The Peoples Bank, today announced the appointment of Randall M. Robey, CPA as interim Chief Executive Officer and President of Peoples Bancorp, Inc. and The Peoples Bank. Mr. Robey’s appointment follows the resignation of J. Scott Sturgill and is in accordance with the board’s management succession plan.
With seven branches spread throughout Kent, Queen Anne’s and Talbot Counties, The Peoples Bank opened its doors in 1910, and has provided local communities with 113 years of excellent customer service and quality financial products.
